Packaging refresh concepts
Seen merchandised on their sides in the frozen food refrigerator, these products needed to be easily readable as well as portray the brands authentic history without appearing as a value brand.
Dividing the front of pack in half allowed for the product and brand to safely communicate the hierarchy while the heavy pattern in the background hints to the ethnic authenticity in a subtle way.
Packaging that shelf blocks
Vertically, these products shelf block nicely with the blue pattern popping out from the darkness of the refrigerator shelf. The possible use of foil and matte finish add to the readability and elevate the packaging.
Colour was the main indicator for product differentiation, so it was easy to distinguish between products that may look similar on-shelf. With the top line using a shield to show “Premium”, the hierarchy for pricing made sense.
ONLINE PRESENCE IS KEY - Desktop & Mobile
Continuation of the brand execution for the mobile and desktop experiences allowed us to control the environment for viewing better. Rather than photos of the product, angle perfect 3d mockup were created.
By doing this we could create angles and dramatic lighting effects that made the products pop off the screen. The online experience became an even more important tool than expected as a result.
